Recommended  Book,”Irresistible” by Andy Stanley

Andy Stanley challenges our understanding of what means to be a Christian. He tackles the things that trip us up, make us seem legalistic, cause us to speak a mixed message.  Jesus was irresistible, drawing people from all walks of life and enraging others with the same message of a new covenant. This read will expose some things that we practice that are totally counterproductive to the plan of Jesus.

Events

Connect Group on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM, join the group for a new series on current events in light of what the Bible has to say. David Graham will be leading this series.

C2…Celebrate Recovery  The gathering will be in the old auditorium and is open to all to share, fellowship, get strong, build relationships. Meetings will be Sunday evenings 6:00 PM.

October and November will feature a study by David Graham focusing on current events and the Bible. Wednesday night Connect Group will be the venue. Be there at 7:00 PM

The Connection…

is not a place to just sit and watch. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey we have a place for you to belong and contribute. You were crafted with a purpose. Your passions, abilities, and experiences uniquely qualify you for a specific role in the kingdom of God. When you become a part of The Connection, we’ll help you find what that is. Imagine being part of a church where you can discover your calling, and be used by God to bless others. Together at The Connection, there is no limit to what God can do through us.

In Acts 1:8 as Jesus sent His disciples out to reach a dying world, He said, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  Jesus Himself set up a model for multiplication that we follow still today. The Connection will always be a church that is focused on reproducing leaders, focusing on New Testament principles, planting churches nationally and internationally, and spreading the gospel.  Changing the world happens through multiplication! We expect to multiply by loving one person at a time. You are important to Jesus and to us.
